LONG ISLAND- A woman that was found dead inside the trunk of a car was strangled to death by her boyfriend, according to police.
Police say they witnessed 3 men carrying something out of a Queens building on Wednesday. They followed the car, and pulled it over in Long Island.
They discovered the victim, identified as Nazareth Tamer-Claure, 31, in the trunk of a car. She was unresponsive, and her body was wrapped in a blanket.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident was MS-13 related. Authorities say that the victim was allegedly a member, reports The New York Daily News.
Police charged three people that were in the car. Rigel Velasla, 20, with murder, Gustavo Salmiento, 21, with murder and criminal possession of a weapon and Allan Lopez, 22, with murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Claure’s boyfriend was charged with choking her days before she was killed, an he may face more charges.
There was a fourth person in the car that police are also questioning.
