The body of 5-year-old Aj Freund has been found in a rural area.
This news is just devastating, although I somehow knew this story wasn’t going to have a happy ending.
Police have now taken several items out of the home, including a shovel with fresh dirt on it.
JoAnn Cunningham, AJ ‘s mother was questioned at the police station this morning with her lawyer, but he was seen leaving the precinct without her. Police say a news conference will be held. She has also been reportedly advised to no longer speak to police.
AJ’s parents reported him missing on Thursday, telling police that AJ was last seen when they put him to bed, which was around 9 p.m., last Wednesday. They told police that when they woke up, they couldn’t find him.
After I hear the 911 call, and how calm the father was, I knew that this boy wasn’t going to return home. How could a father be so calm? I would be screaming, in panic, trying to somewhat hold my composure.
Then to find out that AJ was once taken away by CPS and put into a home, it added more fuel to the fire. Especially seeing the mother lawyering up. For what?
