THE BRONX, NYC- Rapper Mdot EBK has died after he was fatally shot Wednesday morning.
Police said they responded to a report of a shooting around 2 a.m. in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx and discovered the rising 18-year-old rapper with a gunshot wound to his leg.
First responders attempted to save Mdot, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Another male was injured during the shooting but was taken to a hospital and has been listed in stable condition.
Police say they believe a vehicle pulled up to the two male victims and opened fire.
There is no motive for the deadly shooting, and there is an active investigation into the rapper’s killing.
Many fellow Drill rappers and fans have been paying tributes to the rapper.
Mdot Ebk made a name for himself in the Drill game in 2021 when he dropped his song “Off The Mud” and “The Mud, Part 2”
