THE BRONX, N.Y.- A 20-year-old man walked into the New You Beauty Bar in the Fordham Heights section on Sunday night, shooting a 19-year-old woman and then shooting himself.
The female victim was shot in her back.
The suspect then shot himself in the head, in what appears to be an attempted murder-suicide, but he failed.
The victim is being treated at a hospital for her injuries which are not life-threatening, and the male suspect as well, who survived.
The suspect is currently in critical condition.
The NYPD believes both of them knew each other, but are not sure if they were romantically involved.
