Brooklyn Bodega Worker Executed During Argument Over $2 Cigar

BROOKLYN – A bodega worker was shot and killed in Brooklyn during an argument over a cigar Monday and now police are searching for a suspect.

The incident happened around 4:15 p.m. in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn when the gunman shot 37-year-old Nazim Berry in the head inside the bodega where he was a worker.

Berry was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Relatives of Berry said he got into a verbal argument with the suspect because he refused to give him a free $2 cigar. The gunman later returned to the store and killed him.

Police are still searching or the suspect.
