The brother of Stephon Clark, Stevante Clark stormed into a Sacramento council meeting on Tuesday evening along with others who have had enough. The meeting was held to discuss the killing of Stephon Clark, 27 who was unarmed. Protesters, along with Stephons brother took hold of the meeting and began chanting”Stephon Clark!”. Stevante Clark also took a seat right in front of the Sacramento Mayor and shouted, “The Mayor and city of Sacramento has failed all of you!” and he also brought up poverty, along with other social issues. Stephon Clark was slaughtered by officers after they said they received a call about “Vandalism”, where helicopters were on the scene, video from the helicopter captured police shooting Stephon about 20 times, clearly overkill because they said they thought he was holding a gun, which turned out to be his cell phone. This has sparked protest, and pure outrage as another unarmed Black man was slaughtered in front of his family’s home. The family hasn’t filed a lawsuit yet, but it seems like they most definitely will do so because they now have hired civil rights lawyer Ben Crump who has also represented the families of Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, who were both killed for being Black. This country has brought outrage upon themselves. We are tired of Blacks and Latinos (Whose stories are not heard) being slaughtered, and given the same excuse over & over again. America prepare yourselves, for as long as you allow these animals to get away with these executions, we will remind you that it is not over until this STOPS once and for all.
