ILLINOIS- A Buffalo wings employee has been fired from her job for asking a black family to change their table because a white racist customer asked them to do so.
According to the Napervile Sun, the female employee, who was a shift/service manager, asked a group of 18 people that included 12 kids to move from their table on Oct. 26 after a white man (who is obviously racist) didn’t want to sit by them.
Justin Vahl says the manager asked him what his ethnicity was as the staff was setting up their table. Vahl says that’s when he asked the host why, and she replied that one of one of their regular customers “doesn’t want black people sitting near him.”
The host then asked Vahl and his friend to change their table. It was then that they decided to leave the restaurant but not before taking a photo of the racist white man and posting his horrible experience afterwards on Facebook.

The staff at one point told the group that their table was reserved for other diners (I’m sure).
A Buffalo Wings spokesperson conformed with The New York Post that after a “thorough” internal investigation, they have fired that female employee. They say that they’ve been trying to contact the family to apologize and get more details.
One of the men who was part of the group said he actually saw the employee who sat them at their table crying as they were leaving.
The group was there to celebrate a birthday for one of their children…
