Baton was arrested in Fulton County early Saturday on charges of assault, aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer when engaged on official duty, battery, driving -fleeing to elude a police officer and removal of weapon from public official, according to reports.
Police said Batson was allegedly intoxicated during a traffic stop.

An officer reportedly fired his gun during the incident, but no one was injured.
The Falcons’ statement read: “We have been made aware of an overnight incident involving Cameron Baton and are currently gathering information from law enforcement agencies. We take this matter seriously and have no further comment at this time.”
If convicted, Batson could possibly face up to 20 years in prison.
Baton played for the Tennessee Titans, who signed him as an undrafted free agent.
In 2021, he suffered a torn ACL and became a free agent during the off season, signing with the Falcons’.
