Rapper Cardi B has unexpectedly dropped out of a movie a week before it was set to start and legal action may be taken against her, reports Page Six.
The production company Paramount Players has suspended the comedy movie ‘Assisted Living’ after Cardi dropped out.
Cardi B left the $30 million movie a week before filming was set to begin, reports Deadline.
Sources tell Deadline that Cardi dropped out due to overextension.
According to Deadline, because of the Cardi’s departure happening in real time, there may be legal action taken against her.
Cardi was set to play a criminal who must go on the run. As she tries to prove her innocence, she hides out at her grandmother’s assisted living home facility.
