Cardi B was a no-show at her court arraignment

Cardi B was a no-show in court for her arraignment on Monday.

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, is facing charges of assault and reckless endangerment that stem from an incident at Queen’s gentlemen club back in October.

Cardi B’s lawyer, Jeff Kerns, was present at the arraignment in her place. Kerns told the judge that she was aware of her court date but that there circumstances that made difficult for her to attend.

The judge adjourned the proceeding for December 7th, at 11 a.m., giving her a “one time opportunity to show.” The judge said if she doesn’t appear, the judge will be pursuing a bench warrant for her arrest.
