LOSS ANGELES- A cause of death has been revealed for actor Tyler Sanders, known for his roles on “The Rookie” and “9-1-1: Lone Star”.
According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner, the 18-year-old actor died from the effects of fentanyl. His death has been declared an accident, according to TMZ.
The 18-year-old was found dead in his Los Angeles home back in June.
Authorities discovered white powder and a straw in the room where he was found, according to a report from the coroner.
The coroner also noted that Sanders had texted his friend the night before he died, telling him he was using fentanyl, but stop replying to any other texts after that.
Sanders reportedly had a history of substance abuse.
He abused substances that included heroin, LSD, Xanax, mushrooms and cocaine.
