CHICAGO- An unarmed man was shot in his back all because he walked through two train cars..
Chicago’s Civilian Office Of Police Accountability released the disturbing video, which shows a male and female officer struggling with 33-year-old Ariel Roman before they shot him in his back back in Feb.
In the video, Roman can be seen & heard telling the police officer’s “I didn’t do nothing to you” as he’s confused and resisting arrest.
During the struggle, officer Melvina Bogard is ordered by officer Bernard Butler to “Shoot him!” as Roman runs up a subway escalator. Officer Bogard is then seen on video shooting Roman in his back twice, as he was clearly unarmed.
Roman luckily survived, and he is now suing the state and the police dept for being “harassed, chased, tackled, pepper-sprayed, tasered and shot twice.”
The officers have been stripped of their badges while the case is being investigated.
