ATLANTA- Rapper King Von is reportedly dead, after being shot.
The 26-year-old Chicago rapper, was allegedly involved in a shooting on Thursday. King Von was rushed to a Hospital, and later pronounced dead.
The rapper, whose real name is Dayvon Daquan Bennett, later died from his gunshot wounds.
The news was confirmed by the rapper’s DJ and friend Chop Squad, who went on Instagram, posting a photo of him and King Von:
Chop wrote underneath the photo:
“My heart can’t take this. No bro. Why you. Why bro. Please just FaceTime me bro. Why they had to take you. Ima see you again this shit ain’t over. It’s far from over. We still just getting started. RIP my Bestfriend. The only nigga to listen to me word for word from day 1. We sat on FaceTime for hours making songs together. Every bar had a meaning and every song was a part of our soul.
