THE BAHAMAS – The cellphone of a Chicago woman who went missing after traveling to The Bahamas for a yoga retreat was found, according to reports.
Taylor Casey, 41, was last seen on Wednesday, June 19, in the area of Paradise Island, the Royal Bahamas Police Force said.
Casey was reported missing after she failed to show up to class at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat Bahamas on June 20.
On Wednesday, June 26, the Royal Bahamas Police Force Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings said that Casey’s cell phone had been found in the ocean, and her other belongings were still at the retreat.
Taylor’s mother, Colette Seymore, said she last spoke to her daughter was on June 18 when she sent her photos of the Bahamas Ocean. Seymore has reportedly left to the Bahamas to search for her.
She had left to the Bahamas retreat because it was a “long-term goal”.
