The Kanas City Chiefs have released cornerback Damon Arnette after he was recently arrested, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Arnette, 25, was arrested on Friday and charged with multiple charges that included assault with a deadly weapon.
Arnette had been picked by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2020 NFL draft.
He played just 13 games with the team before he was released in November after a video surfaced showing him threatening someone with a gun.
He was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run at that time and is being sued.
