CALIFORNIA- Singer Chris Brown is being investigated in a battery probe, after a woman claims that he allegedly smacked her so hard in the face, her wig flew off.

Authorities tell TMZ that police responded to the singer’s San Fernando Valley home over the weekend, after a woman called them claiming Chris had allegedly slapped her.
“The victim advised that she and the suspect argued, and the suspect struck her,” a police statement says, reports aol.com.
Sources tell TMZ that the case will be sent to the City Attorney’s Office, and it would be a misdemeanor charge, if Brown is charged.
