WORCESTER, Mass. – The head of St. Peter’s church is very upset with rapper Joyner Lucas.
The Massachusetts rapper has been in a lot of controversy since dropping his new music video “Devil’s Work.”
In the video, Joyner is inside of the church with a bottle of Hennessy, asking “God” why has he taken the lives of some, but has left others to live. He mentions Trump, Laura Ingraham Tomi Lahren and others such as Suge Knight and Nipsey Hussle’s alleged killer Eric Holder.
The head of the church says he wouldn’t have given Joyner permission to film, telling CBS “Maybe if we had known more about what was happening here, we would have probably put more controls on it,” Scollen said. “We need to bring about social change but we need to do it in a non-violent way.”

Joyner has attended services there with his family, so the church didn’t second guess the making if his video, but they’re now saying that will not be another video made inside the church.
The Church Administrator, Amie Neville however says something different. She said “That’s their artistic vision.”
I honestly think the song/video is great, and there’s nothing wrong with questioning..
