Cleveland Mayor’s grandson in custody for domestic violence warrant

OHIO- Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson’s grandson was arrested on Sunday morning after a police chase.

Police attempted to stop Frank Q. Jackson because his vehicle had tinted windows, according to News 5 Cleveland.

When an officer attempted to get Jackson out the vehicle, he sped off. The officer ran after the car, before Jackson led police on a chase.

Jackson was allegedly driving 100 mph, as police were chasing him.

Police lost Jackson when he exited westbound on I-90 at Lorain Avenue.

Jackson turned himself into police around 3 a.m.

According to the News Station, an arrest warrant was issued for Jackson’s arrest for allegedly hitting his girlfriend in the face during an argument in Dec. 2020.
