Comedian, actor Paul Mooney has died at the age of 79.
The actor reportedly died in his home on Wednesday. His publicist, Cassandra Williams says Mooney died from a heart attack.
Mooney was known for being very blunt in his comedy about social injustice and racism.
He was a great friend of Richard Pryor, and served as the head writer for “The Richard Pryor Show” that aired in 1977. He also wrote for Pryor’s “Saturday Night Live” appearances.
Mooney also appeared on the “Dave Chappelle Show”.
