NEW YORK CITY- A new law was passed this past weekend which bans companies from testing those for Marijuana.
The New York law bans companies from requiring re-employment testing for Marijuana, but not if it’s required by police, commercial driving jobs, child care some other jobs.
Now, despite the new law kicking in, companies can still fire an employee if they fail a test for marijuana, and the law doesn’t stop companies from asking their employees to take one.
