MEMPHIS- The cookie shop where rapper Young Dolph was killed is planning to name one of the favorite rapper’s favorite cookie after him.
According to Makeda’s Cookies operations manager, Raven Winton, the shop will be naming the rapper’s favorite cookie, the chocolate chip cookie, after him, reports WREG.
The cookie shop has remained closed since the rapper was killed last week, and will be closed for the remainder of the year.
The shop has created a GoFundMe page to help the store, which was damaged in the rapper’s deadly shooting. The business says they filed an insurance claim, but they were denied because the damage “was not fire, flood or natural disaster.”
Makeda’s GoFundMe has received over $86,000.
