Cops identify females that washed up on the Hudson River as sisters who went missing

Police in Fairfax, Virginia have identified the bodies of two females who washed up on the Hudson River in Manhattan.

According to authorities in Fairfax, Tala Farea, 16, and her older sister Rotana Farea, 22, went missing from their home on August 24th. N.Y.P.D. had originally believed that the the bodies of these females were between the age of 25-30.

Farea and Rotana’s bodies washed up on the rocks along the Hudson River on W 68 st. Their bodies were found at around 2:50 pm on Thursday, after police received a call. Both sisters were found taped together at the waist and feet.

An autopsy is taking place to find out the causes of death.
