NYC – A crew of armed thieves targeting food delivery workers with e-bikes stabbed one worker in a botched robbery, police said.
Several of the suspects flashed guns, knives and razor blades in an 11-day spree in Manhattan, targeting at least 9 workers.
7 of the workers had their e-bikes stolen, according to police.
Two suspects approached a 41-year-old man who was making a delivery around 9:45 p.m. on West 131 Street near Seventh Ave. on Feb. 29.
The pair flashed a knife before stabling the man in his back when and tried to grab his cellphone before he fled.
The victim was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police have made no arrests.
