Crip Mac Pleads Guilty To Federal Charge, Sentencing Date Set

LOS ANGELES – YouTube rapper Crip Mac pleaded guilty on Monday to a federal charge, according to a report.

The social media star, whose real name is Trevor Hurd, pleaded guilty in downtown Los Angeles to one federal count of being a felon in possession of ammunition. The charge carries a possible sentence of up to 10 years behind bars, according to KNX New Radio News Radio.

A District judge set his sentencing date for July 22 in a federal court.

The 31-year-old was arrested back in Dec. by U.S. Marshals. A judge agreed to drop his gun charges so that federal prosecutors could take over the case.

Crip Mac was found in possession of a “ghost gun”, (a gun without a serial number) and 10 rounds of ammunition in Sept.

Records show he is a convicted felon.
