Cynthia Nixon says she wants to legalize recreational Marijuana in New York in order to promote social injustice. Cynthia believes there are many reasons why Marijuana should be legalized, but her main goal to stop the racial injustice that Marijuana users suffer. She brought up how %80 of people who are arrested are Black or Latin. She went to say that Whites smoke just as much Marijuana as Latinos and Blacks, but the jails are filled people of color.
