U.K.- Rapper DaBaby won’t be hitting the stage for The United Kingdom’s Parklife music festival in Sept. after his homophobic rant during Rolling Loud this past weekend.
As of Thursday, DaBaby’s name was on the poster for the music festival, but it was taken off the website, reports The L.A. Times.
The line-up for the festival included Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, Princess Nokia, Disclosure and more.
Organizers for Parklife haven’t made any comments.
DaBaby went on a rant attacking gay men and those with HIV/AIDS on Sunday night in Miami.
The rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Kick, told the crowd to hold their phones if they “didn’t show up today with HIV or AIDS” and the “fellas” who “ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot.”
The North Carolina rapper apologized by tweeting “Anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody,” he tweeted Tuesday. “So my apologies. But the LGBT community… I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.”
Artists like Dua Lupa, Elton John and Demo Lovato have condemned the rapper’s rant.
He was also dropped by a clothing company..
