NEW ORLEANS- Rapper DaBaby has people calling him ‘washed up’ after his concert was canceled due to low ticket sales.
Yikes.
The show was set to take place Sept. 2 in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Arena.
According to local reports, about 500 tickets were sold for the show at a venue that holds up to 14,000 people.
The tickets, which were as low as $35, were being sold through Ticketmaster, but on Tuesday, the event was removed with a message that read “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.”
The event was being put on by promoters Euell “7th Ward Shorty” Sylvester and Greg Pulver through their companies Clear Bizness Entertainment and 70/30, according to NOLA.
Some fans have commented under the rapper’s Instagram page, saying he’s washed up.
The troubled rapper hasn’t commented on the canceled show.
