Dance instructor who worked for celebs charged for having sex with minor

LAS VEGAS- A dance instructor who worked for celebrities like Madonna, Britney Spears and more has been charged for having sex with a minor.

Las Vegas police say that Jesse Lee Santos, 45, was arrested on Wednesday, and charged with child abuse, sexual assault, lewdness with a minor, sexual conduct between a school employee and student and intentional transmission of HIV.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by The Las Vegas Review-Journal, it states that “Jesse groomed aspiring dancers both at the high school and outside of school through his company JLS Entertainment,” adding that “Jesse recruited students and gave them employment through his company, which often resulted in students competing in dance competitions out of state.”

The Las Vegas Sun reports that one of his Santos’ victims, who attended Desert Oasis H.S., told police that Santos sexually assaulted him between 2015 and 2017 when he was 15 and 17-years-old.

The victim said that Santos had sex with him in Hotel’s, his home and other places.

Police say that Santos traveled to different states for dance competitions that included California, Kentucky, Florida, Maryland and Georgia. Police believe Santos has other victims, and are asking them to speak up.
