OHIO- Two Day care workers have been arrested and are facing child endangerment charges after authorities say that they sat around while a little girl was assaulted.
The whole thing was caught on surveillance video that will not be released.
Authorities say that surveillance video shows how day care workers Emma Dietrich, 31, and Joshua Tennant, 27, stayed in their seats as they witnessed older students “grabbing, pulling, dragging and swinging the 5-year-old victim.
To make things worse, when Tennant did get up, he grabbed the victim by her ankles and arm like an animal.
Both daycare workers were arrested after one of the students who witnessed the little girl being bullied told their parents. It was then that the parents told the victims mother and authorities what they were told.
Both workers were arrested on Tuesday after authorities reviewed the video.
They were also fired, and the Day care owner says she’s “devastated.”
The 5-year-old wasn’t even in the right class..
Truly disgusting, and as a parent I hope that these day care employees are punished to the fullest extent for allowing this child to go through the agony and pain she did..
