Defendant Out On Bond In Rapper Young Dolph’s Murder Asks Judge For Curfew

MEMPHIS – A defendant out on bond in the murder of rapper Young Dolph asked the court for a curfew so he can get a job, according to a report.

Hernandez Govan was released on a $90,000 bond last May on 24-hour house-arrest and must be monitored with an ankle monitor.

His attorney filed a motion over the weekend, asking that his bond be modified to give him a curfew from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., WREG-TV Memphis reports.

The motion states that Govan wants to be able to provide for his wife and children.

Govan, accused of being the mastermind behind Young Dolph’s murder, is facing charges of conspiracy. He allegedly hired co-defendants Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith to kill the rapper.

His trial date is expected to be after March.
