Digital Underground’s Shock G died from accidental overdose involving fentanyl

FLORIDA- Digital Underground co-founder, rapper Shock G died from an accidental drug overdose involving fentanyl, authorities confirmed.

The cause of death for the rapper was listed as “combined toxic effects of fentanyl, methamphetamine and ethanol.

The 57-year-old rapper, whose real name is Gregory Jacobs, was found unresponsive in a Tampa hotel room on April 22. He was declared dead on the scene.

Jacobs was known for his rap persona “Humpty Hump”, with his hit song “Humpty Dance”.
