Disturbing new details surrounding Juice WRLD’s death; was surrounded by pills at airport
CHICAGO- New disturbing details surrounding rapper Juice WRLD’s death has been released.
According to the Cook’s County Medical examiners report that was released on Thursday, Juice WRLD “let out a gasp and collapsed to the ground” after getting off his jet at Chicago’s Midway airport.
He was with his girlfriend Lilly at the time..
The report says that after Juice collapsed, he began moving, bleeding from his nose and mouth and was “surrounded by pills”. The paramedics got to him at around 2 a.m., giving him Narcan, which is an emergency treatment for an opiate overdose.
Juice WRLD took his final breath inside of the ambulance he was in and first responders said he had no pulse, but CPR was still performed on him, and he was still being taken to a nearby Hospital.
At the Hospital, he was given Narcan AGAIN. He was then transferred to another Hospital, where he was finally pronounced dead at 3:14 a.m.. Nurses found 9 pills in his pockets.
The rapper, whose real name is Jarad Higgins, died 6 days after his 21st birthday.
His cause of death was an accidental overdose of Percocets and codeine, new details that were released in the report also state that he had morphine,weed and caffeine in his system.
His girlfriend told authorities that he had an addiction to opiates.
