Dj Khaled joins French Montana in joining the “We Are The Dream” campaign which is in collaboration with MTV, and the non-profit organization “Get schooled”. The “We Are The Dream” helps undocumented children continue their education in the United States by donating $1000 grants to schools to those who are part of the “D.a.c.a” program. Dj Khaled was born to parents who are from Palestine, so he understands the struggles some of these “Dreamers” have experienced, or are going to experience after Trump has caused hell with a “Muslim Ban”, and the termination of a program that was set in place by Barack Obama before Trump took office to protect children who are here undocumented, but are following the rules & regulations, one of the rules being they must continue to get an education while living in the United states. French Montana who is from Morocco, but raised in the South Bronx has proven just how successful those who are not from America can be. French Montana would like for people to join the movement by taking selfies, tagging @getschooled on social media, and hashtagging #wearethedream.
