Doja Cat has lost over 200,000 followers on social media after calling out her fans for naming themselves “kittenz” and degrading them over the weekend.
The singer told her fans “If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or fcking ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”
This comes after one of her fans told her ” I wanna hear you say (I do love you guys) As usual you say to your fans.”
Doja replied, “i don’t though cuz i don’t even know yall.” Somebody else responded, saying “and we don’t know you. but we have supported you through thick and thin. mind you you’d be NOTHING without us. you’d be working at a grocery store making songs on fcking garage band miss high school drop out.”
Doja then replied, “nobody forced you idk why you’re talking to me like you’re my mother btch you sound like a crazy person.”
The singer has now lost over 200,000 followers in less than 24 hours on social media.
Doja Cat fan pages on Twitter have also been deactivated in protest by thousands of fans.
