Dr. Dre will be making a movie about the life of the late singer Marvin Gaye. Variety has learned that Dr dre has secured the rights to use Gaye’s music. Dr. dre was one of the producers behind “Straight Outta Compton” which was based on Dr. dre and his fellow rap members from his rap group “N.W.A.”. Many others have attempted to make a movie about Marvin Gaye, but never succeeded. Some of those people were James Gandolfini, Cameron Crowe, Lenny Kravitz and more. Marvin Gaye was killed by his father in 1984 on April Fools day. Gaye was known for his hits “Sexual healing”, “What’s going on?” and “Let’s get it on”.
