Drake Honors Mother, Daughter Killed After His Concert

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – Rapper Drake honored a mother and daughter who were killed after his one of his recent concerts in St. Louis.

During his concert in Buffalo, New York Wednesday night at Keybank Center, the artist shared a message with the crowd mentioning the women, saying “You never know what somebody else’s reality will be when they walk out of this building.”

He encouraged fans in the crowd to show love to a stranger, adding “Rest in peace to that young mother and her child,” referring to Laticha Bracero and her 21-year-old daughter Alyssa Cordova.The mother and daughter were killed by Monte Henderson, as they were leaving Drake’s and J.Cole’s concert in St. Louis on Feb. 14. Henderson ran thru several red lights before striking and killing them, which was caught on video footage.

Henderson was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of armed criminal action.
