Drake’s Apollo Concert Paused After Fan Falls From Balcony

HARLEM, NYC- Rapper Drake had to pause his SiriusXM concert Sunday after a fan fell from a mezzanine balcony onto the crowd below.

The Canadian rapper and 21 Savage were onstage to perform songs off of their 2022 collaborative album “Her Loss”, but before they could start to perform, a man fell from the second-floor balcony into the orchestra pit, according to my sources.

A crew member was seen going onstage to let 21Savage and Drake know to pause the show, as the man was being attended to.

“Just gotta make sure somebody’s OK,” Drake told the crowd.

Drake and 21Savage had to leave the stage, as the lights were turned on in the venue.

Staff were seen treating the man, removing a damaged lighting rig and securing cords that were hanging on the side of the balcony where the man fell from.

The concert was put on pause for 15 minutes before Drake and Savage hit the stage again, with Drake telling the crowd “Let’s just make some noise that everybody’s OK.”

The concert had been rescheduled three times due to Drake injuring his ankle, before going ahead this past weekend.

It’s unclear what injuries the fan sustained, but I’ll keep you updated.
