Drill Rapper C Blu, Accused Of Shooting Cop May Be Released On Bond

NYC- Rapper C Blu, accused of accidentally shooting a police officer in The Bronx could be freed on a $250,000 bond as of Friday, with money from his record label, reports FOX News.

The 16-year-old rising drill rapper, whose real name is Camrin Williams, is signed to Interscope Records. He reportedly used a portion of his advance money from the label to hire a bondsman, FOX News Digital reports.

Williams’ family paid more than $15,00 for the bondsman to submit the bail paperwork to the Bronx district’s attorney’s office, according to FOX.

Before Williams is released, prosecutors have 72 hours to examine where the rapper’s money is coming from, to make sure he didn’t get it from illegal gang activity.

Willaims was arraigned on one count each of second-degree assault and firearm possession and three counts of weapons possession in Bronx Criminal Court Thursday.

Williams is an associate of rapper Kay Flock, who was arrested on murder charges.
