LONG ISLAND- A man has been arrested and charged for allegedly slamming his Jet Ski into an 8-year-old boy while he was drunk, police say.
Anthony DeJesus, 30, allegedly hit the boy as he was swimming at Jones Beach on Saturday around 7:30 p.m., Nassau police say, reports The New York Post.
The boy was airlifted to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries..
DeJesus is facing charges of operating a vessel impaired by alcohol and operating a vessel intoxicated.
