DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss has died by apparent Suicide at 40.
Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, said in a statement to PEOPLE:
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband tephen has left us,” she said.
“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Holker went to a Los Angeles Police Department station on Tuesday after Stephens left their home without his car, which wasn’t usual of him.
Shortly after, police said they were contacted about a shooting at a hotel.
He was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound..
He leaves behind his wife and three children.
Boss began DJ’ing on the Ellen Degeneres’ show in 2014. He became an executive producer 6 years later.
