Eminem apologizes to Rihanna on surprise album; here’s why

Eminem surprised everyone on Thursday at midnight, after dropping his new album “Music To Be Murdered By”— Side B”.

The album produced by Eminem, Dr. Dre (of course), Sly Pyper and Ty Dolla $ign features a song titled “Zeus” in which the Detroit rapper apologized to Rihanna over decade-old lyrics that leaked in 2019.

In “Zeus” Eminem raps:

“But, me, long as I re-promise to be honest / And wholeheartedly apologies, Rihanna/ For that song that leaked/ I’m sorry Ri / It wasn’t meant to cause you grief/Regardless it was wrong of me/.

 

On the leaked song from 2019, titled “Things Get Worse”, Eminem sided with Chris Brown, rapping :

“I’m not playing Rihanna/ Where you’d get the V.D. at?/Let me add my two cents/ Of course, I side with Chris Brown/ I’d beat a bi*** down too if she gave my dick an itch now”.

Chris Brown was charged in 2009 for after he pleaded guilty to felony assault for beating his ex, Rihanna.

Many were shocked hearing the leaked lyrics, because Rihanna & Eminem had a few hits since the incident with Chris Brown.
Rihanna hasn’t responded.
