DETROIT- Eminem confronted an intruder inside of his home and the man is now under arrest.
According to TMZ, the intruder slipped past Eminem’s security, who were stationed at the front of the home. He entered through the back of the home, making his way inside of Em’s gated community and entered his living room.
Eminem came face to face with the suspect around 4 a.m..
According to authorities, 26-year-old Mattew David Hughes used a paving stone to smash Eminem’s kitchen window and climbed inside. This is what caused Eminem’s alarms to go off.
Security came and detained Hughes, who was arrested and charged with first-degree home invasion and malicious destruction of a building. Those are both felony charges.
