ARIZONA- Former ‘Empire’ actor Bryshere Gray will be serving time for assault charges, TMZ reports.
Gray pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault, and was sentenced to 10 days in an Arizona jail and 3 years of probation.
Gray was ordered to also enroll in a domestic violence offender treatment program, pay restitution to his wife Candice Jimdar and submit to drug and alcohol testing.
The actor will need written permission from his probation in order to interact with anyone who has a criminal record and will not be able to possess any kind of firearm.
Gray was arrested in his home in 2020, and was charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence and disorderly conduct.
His wife told police that Gray had been abusing her for hours at his home. SWAT was called when Gray refused to come out of his home before his arrest.
