“ER” actress Vanessa Marquez shot to death by L.A.P.D.

Vanessa Marquez, 49, who appeared on “ER” and “Stand and Deliver” was shot to death by the L.A.P.D. today at her South Pasadena home.

Police were called to the actress’s home by her landlord who was concerned by her wellbeing. Authorities say when they arrived at her home she was suffering from seizures and they had called for more personnel and a mental health clinician.

Authorities are saying they spent about 90 minutes with Marquez who became uncooperative, even drawing a gun at them and that’s when according to The Los Angeles Times, police shot her twice in her torso.

Marquez was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The gun she allegedly pointed at officers turned out to a B.B. gun.

Her death is under investigation.

Marquez last year had accused her male co-stars on E.R. of sexual misconduct and said that George Clooney had her blacklisted because of her speaking out.

Lou Diamond who worked with Marquez sent a tweet out showing nothing but love for his former “Stand and Deliver”.
