Ex-MLB player Juan Encarnacion has been arrested after being accused of sexually assaulting his daughter.
The 45-year-old former Major League Baseball outfielder is accused of entering his daughter’s room in May as she slept and sexually assaulted her. The girl’s mother reportedly told police, reports ESPN.
He is currently being held in Dominican Republic without bond, according to ESPN.
Encarnacion played in the Major League for almost a decade, winning championship games with The Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals.
If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
