ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY- Former NFL running back Frank Gore is accused of grabbing a naked woman and dragging her in the hallway of an Atlantic City hotel, according to a report.
The incident took place on July 31 on the 59th floor of the Havana Tower of Tropicana Atlantic City. Gore was arrested and charged with simple assault, according to Fox News.
When officers arrived, they found the 28-year-old woman speaking with security. She didn’t appear to have signs of any injuries and a complaint wasn’t filed. “However, an ensuing investigation resulted in Franklin Gore being charged with simple assault related to the domestic violence incident”, Atlantic City police said in a news release.
Gore, 39, allegedly “forcibly” grabbed the woman and “violently” dragged her, TMZ Sports reported. Gore was arrested days later after an investigation was opened.
Gore was a five-time Pro Bowler, and played for the San Fransico 49ers, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills.
