LONG ISLAND- A retired NYC firefighter has been charged after participating in the Capitol Hill riot.
Thomas Fee, who was wanted by the feds, turned himself in on Tuesday.
Fee, 51, was charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Fee sent photos of himself inside of the Capitol building to a friend of his.
According to authorities, Lee has a history of racist accusations. In 2004, he was suspended as a volunteer firefighter after he shouted racial slurs at a black doctor, The New York Post reported.
Fee had just retired in October, after 22 years with the FDNY.
