Overdose suspected in the death of rising rapper Lexii Alijai

Minneapolis- Rising rapper Lexxi Alij may have died from an alleged drug overdose according to authorities and the Star Tribune, but I told you guys that already.

According to a report from authorities, dispatch audio revealed that when fire personnel got to the downtown Hotel on New Year’s Eve where the 21-year-old rapper was at, they were told that she had overdosed the night before after taking a Percocet.

First responder’s said that Lexii Alij, whose real name is Alexis Alijai Lynch, was found on the floor, suffering from what appeared to be a possible cardiac arrest, but she was “cold to the touch”.

The report states “Bystanders stated they had been sleeping, and when they woke up, the patient wouldn’t wake up,” it added “Bystanders stated they weren’t sure if [Lynch] had taken anything.”

This is what I told you guys when I first did her story. I was told by a source that she had allegedly taken a “bad pill” that night.

As of Monday, the Medical examiners office still hasn’t revealed a cause of death, and they said when they do, they don’t plan on holding a press conference.

Lexii was an upcoming singer, and her passing hurt those in the music industry as they poured their hearts out, sharing memories and more.

Singer Kehlani, who was friends with Lynch shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram the day of her passing, saying “You were supposed to take over the world.”
