LOS ANGELES- The family of an aspiring model who was found dead inside of her Los Angeles home are demanding answers as they believe foul play was involved.
Malessa Mooney, 31, was found dead inside her apartment at Skye at Bunker Hill luxury apartments on the 200 block of South Figueroa St. around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Malessa’s family became concerned after she wasn’t answering calls or texts after a week. Officers were dispatched for a welfare check where they discovered her body.
Police haven’t released any details about her possible injuries, or her cause of death.
Her death is being investigated as a murder; police confirmed.
