ARIZONA- A family was shocked when their shovel struck a bag full of guns in their backyard while they were trying to plant a tree, according to police.
AZFamily.com reports that the family was shoveling in corner of their fenced-in property when they found the bag of guns that consisted of rusted rifles and handguns.
The family, who moved into the home four years ago, called police, but due to the poor condition of the guns, as of now they’re unable to read any serial numbers or get history on the guns.
Homeowners in a valley home were digging a hole for a tree when they dug up more than they asked for! They found a duffle bag with rusted rifles and handguns inside. They called #PHXPD and gave them to detectives, who will investigate if these firearms were used in any crimes. pic.twitter.com/3EKouHHtpr
